Donations Welcome

All donations are subject to the same criteria for selection as books which are purchased. Donated books which are not needed are given to teachers, students, or to other organizations and individuals. Following is a list of titles and categories of books which are needed for Sherman’s library collection.

Fiction

We always appreciate receiving copies of recent fiction for primary and middle grade (3rd-6th) readers. Check the library catalog at http://follett.sfusd.edu/common/welcome.jsp?site=2222 to see if the library already owns a particular title.

Great News!!

We submitted a Donors Choose proposal to provide multiple copies of historical fiction for 5th Grade Literature Circles. The proposal is now completely funded. We are very, very grateful to Ms. Jacoby, Mr. Macaranas and Shauna Smith for their generosity to Sherman's students.  See the proposal at http://www.donorschoose.org/donors/proposal.html?id=130936
